Tony Moses serves as CEO of Eyecheck. He brings over 35 years of experience in ophthalmology. Prior to Eyecheck, Tony was Vice President of Sales at Second Sight (NASDAQ:EYES). Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Global Sales at Oraya Therapeutics. Earlier, he was Global Commercial Vice-President at Neovista. He began his career in ophthalmology at Storz Instruments as Sales Manager for the UK.
Lauren Harnew serves as the Director of Operations at Eyecheck. Since joining the team in 2014, she has honed her skills in project management, product development, and operational efficiency. Prior to joining Eyecheck, Lauren held a position at Roeda Signs, where she managed brand communications, customer relations, and product sales. Lauren holds a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Trinity Christian College
John Mahoney serves as general counsel for Eyecheck. He is the President of John Francis Mahoney Law, Ltd. and is of counsel to successful Chicago law firm Lawrence, Kamin, Saunders, and Uhlenhop, LLC and CPA with over 25 years of experience. He is an experienced business advisor and counselor to for-profit and not-for-profit clients on business formation and entity selection, estate planning, taxation, financing and equity investment, governance, employment and related corporate matters. His extensive business and leadership experience, from both within and outside of the legal profession, provides him the ability to be a true counselor for his clients. John has served as President for the National Association of Investors Corporation’s Chicago Council, a not-for-profit organization that provides education and support for individuals and investment clubs. Before forming JFMLAW, John was a partner at Lawrence Kamin since 2005. Before that time, John honed his teamwork and employee-relations skills as chairman of the Operations Committee of Chuhak & Tecson, P.C., running the day-to-day operations of the firm while continuing his law practice. Prior to joining Chuhak in 1992, John started his legal career at Mayer Brown, a large international law firm, after his graduation from the University of Michigan Law School in 1989. He started his career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse (now Price Waterhouse Coopers).
Dr. Rama Jager is the founder of Eyecheck and a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon. He also is Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is dedicated to the surgical teaching and mentoring vitreoretinal fellows, residents, and medical students and new physicians, and has received awards for excellence in teaching. He specializes in the medical and surgical diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula. Dr. Jager utilizes state-of-the-art technology in the management of age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusions, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment surgery, macular hole surgery, diabetic surgery, and epiretinal membrane surgery.
